Members panel opportunity

We are looking to recruit member organisations of the Highlands & Islands Climate Hub to form a funding panel for our Climate Action Fund to help guide the projects we fund throughout Highland, Orkney and Shetland.

We’re looking for more member involvement in our decision making processes. The members panel offers us the chance to better engage with members and, gives members an insight into the incredible applications the Climate Action Fund receives. You’ll be part of the decision making as to how the fund is distributed and have the opportunity to discuss with the Hub and fellow panel members about the rationale around scorings.

Members who form the panel are still more than welcome and eligable to apply to the Climate Action Fund, we simply excuse you from scoring your own application.

The ask to those considering getting involved:

  • Commit to being involved in decision making processes for 3 separeate funding rounds.

  • Read the applications, the level of applications may vary in each round.

  • Attend a funding panel call to make collective decisions.

There is no requirement for you to have any previous experience in scoring funding applications as the panel will be guided by The Hub’s Senior Project Officer, Bethany who operates the Climate Action Fund.

This opportunity is exclusively for members only of the Highlands & Islands Climate Hub.
