Our Network
The Highlands and Islands Climate Hub and our ever growing membership group is a network in it’s own right. Let’s delve into what that means.
The Hub Team consists of a group of carefully considered community experts. Each person brings a wealth of experience to the patch they support and shares this experience and knowledge within the team to benefit colleagues and members.
It’s been hugely important for us to recruit people from within the communities they’ll support. People living, contributing, participating and with a genuine understanding of what life is like in a particular village, town or city.
In addition to our dedicated Development Officers and admin & support team members have each other! Our membership group is home to over 350 likeminded community groups, businesses and individuals all either actively participating in or interested in community led climate action.
Members are invited to engage at networking sessions, events and activities hosted by the Hub and when you come to your Development Officer with an idea, question or challenge, bear in mind that you’re asking them, but you’ve got the experience and knowledge of them, the Hub team AND fellow members. Between us, there’s no stone left unturned. Your challenge is our challenge.
We thrive on connection and collaboration. By understanding the needs of our members, we can connect you to communities across the region who we think can support you and/or learn from what you’re doing.
