Beginning or continuing your journey to Net Zero can feel overwhelming, but it doesn't have to be! There are plenty of great resources to help you along the way.

We're here to help, and are proud to offer the following learning opportunities to members via our Learning Lab and dedicated Training Officer:

  • In person and online Carbon Literacy Training which is accredited by the Carbon Literacy Project

  • Understanding climate change

  • Reducing your carbon footprint

  • Exploring circular economy ideas

  • Finding and applying for funding

To access the Learning Lab, you need to firstly, be a member of the Highlands and Islands climate Hub and, have signed up/logged in to our online members’ area. You can sign up for membership here.

For community groups, delivered training sessions are free of charge. A small fee may be applicable to larger organisations or, those with a group of people looking for training tailored to their organisation/need. To discuss the options, please get in touch.

Many of the opportunities within the Learning Lab are available all the time, making it straightforward for members’ to complete when you’re ready. The Carbon Literacy sessions are hosted on specific days/times. These sessions will be advertised well in advance and run regularly. Members are welcome and encouraged to reach out to us to indicate you’d like a session if you don’t spot one in the calendar below. Particularly if there are a few people within your organisation looking to complete the course together.

We’ll be adding to the list of topics covered and would love to hear from you if you’ve got a specific request for topics so please do reach out.
