Our Members
The Highlands and Islands Climate Hub exists to support its members. Our work is driven by member needs and we use real member stories when reporting to Scottish Government and other decision makers. In the 2024-2025 Programme for Government, we were thrilled to offer case studies members highlighting their good practice in community led climate action.
Our members are an eclectic and vibrant mix of passionate individuals, community groups, businesses, and partner organisations. Each are unique in the ways in which they tackle the climate emergency and engage with their communities. This uniqueness is thanks to the wide geographic location of our members. What works for an organisation in Shetland isn’t necessarily what will work for one in Inverness or Lochaber. And this, is one of the best bits of our jobs.
Listening to what members are working on and your approaches to engage target audiences is fascinating. No one knows your community like you and we love to learn from you before we offer advice.
We work hard to recruit from the communities we support so that we’re in the best position to either know, or get to know the residents in our patch. Learn more about our team here.
It is our goal to grow our membership continuously by offering an outstanding service which becomes invaluable to your organisation.
Members are a team, we share one another’s successes and challenges and support one another at any opportunity.
