Cost of living support - Training for community organisations in Highland

  • The Spectrum Centre 1 Margaret Street Inverness, Scotland, IV1 1LS United Kingdom (map)

Here at the Hub, we’re thrilled to be working collaboratively with Thurso Community Development Trust to deliver the Highland Community Support Project. The project aims to support community groups, workers and volunteers with all the tools they need to be able to support those who need it, through the cost of living crisis. You can read more details on the project here.

We’re excited to invite you to the first, in person training session which takes place on Thursday 29th June from 10am – 12.30pm in The Spectrum Centre, Inverness. The training is free however numbers are limited so please do book soon.

At the session, attendees will understand how to identify those who are struggling and how to connect them to the right places for support in the most straightforward way possible. Attendees will also be equipped with the Cost of Living Support Directory, which pulls all of the relevant information into an easy to use, mobile friendly resource which attendees can use while out and about and engaging with communities.

The Highland Cost of Living Support Directory is delivered by Thurso Community Development Trust and the Highlands & Islands Climate Hub funded with grateful thanks to SSE Renewables.
