Take the chance to network, get involved, collaborate, share ideas and get energised about taking climate action locally!
Join the Inverness and Nairn gathering of the Highlands and Islands Climate Hub! A chance to meet members in the area and hear from others about their climate action projects. This event is free and is open to both hub members and non-members who are interested in finding out both more about the hub and more about local climate action community projects.
It is an informal session to come together, enjoy sharing food and a focus on hearing from local climate action projects. We'd love to hear both what's currently happening and what your ideas for the future are.
If you would like to bring along some leaflets or resources about your organisation or project, please do! Space is an issue, so bear that in mind, but we'd love to see anything that helps you tell the story of your organisation - please let Alice and Sheila know in advance if you have larger items such as a display, so we can plan the available space.
The session will involve an introduction to the Hub, to explain the Hub's role, what support is currently available and what to expect in the future. We are especially keen to build on the member to member networking within the hub - so this is very much a social event! Over the course of the evening, we will be inviting you to share a little about your group and your climate action projects. There will be a short facilitated discussion to capture plans for the future, what support is needed and ideas for future hub training and events.
