Etta May is our Digital Communications and Membership officer, based in Nairn.

Born and brought up on the Isle of Harris, she moved to the Highlands at the start of 2025. Her background is predominantly (Gaelic) media with her previous job being a Digital Journalist for BBC Naidheachdan, during her time as a journalist in the islands, she came to the realisation that what she really loved doing was telling the stories of communities via social media - through photos and videos.

Outside of work, Etta is usually paddleboarding, cycling or sat comfortably with a bucket of popcorn in the cinema.
