Katy is the Hub’s Development Officer for the Skye and Localsh area. Originally from the Midlands, she studied Classics at Warwick before gaining an MSc in Global Environment, Politics and Society at Edinburgh. Before joining the Hub she worked for the Scottish Government's national fuel poverty scheme, managed a café and co-founded E.mission Innovations Ltd.  

She is particularly passionate about sustainable food systems, wildlife and circular economy.

Katy’s interests includes gardening, walking and boardgames in her spare time she serves as a trustee for her local development trust and runs a local boardgame club on Skye.
