Making Change Happen

  • Dundreggan Rewilding Centre Inverness, Scotland, IV63 7YJ United Kingdom (map)

We are thrilled to be partnering with the Social Enterprise Academy to create ‘Making Change Happen’ - an initiative to support and connect aspiring leaders to tackle the climate emergency.

Through a 3 day residential at Dundreggan Rewilding Centre, and 5 online learning days in early 2025, participants will develop the skillset needed to become an effective leader in tackling the climate emergency.

Designed for community leaders, this programme will upskill participants by firstly focusing on leading yourself, then building on this to understand & lead others, and applying these skills through an organisational & community lens. Take the opportunity to discuss the unique challenges faced when leading climate action, explore your personal profile as a leader and leave equipped with innovative strategies to facilitate climate action in your community.

Lead by Fabio Vallani, the course will draw on his 35 years of experience in business & community development to create a learning environment which values social justice & community development.

Open to individuals from all sectors who are passionate about bringing change to their communities in Highland through climate action, your place on the programme is fully funded and you can opt to pursue accreditation. Please note you will need to cover your own travel expenses to the residential, however if this is an issue please contact enquiries@hiclimatehub.co.uk to discuss.
